Will Thorpe

Will has spent over six years managing complex injuries for the NSW Police Force, being responsible for the safe, timely recovery of officers facing some of the most physically demanding roles around. That grounding shapes how he treats every patient: work out what's actually going on, then build the clearest path back through treatment, rehab and strength.

He's delivered physio care at state and national level across Rugby Union, Soccer and Netball, and currently holds a senior position at Scotts College, supporting athletes both on-field and in the clinic.

Will's practice is deliberately pragmatic. Will pairs hands-on techniques - massage, dry needling, joint mobilisations, active releases and mobilisations with movement - with targeted exercise prescription, leaning heavily on strength and conditioning to manage symptoms, restore mobility and build lasting resilience.

Above all, he's collaborative. Will loves educating patients, problem-solving alongside them and involving them in the decisions that shape their recovery, with a particular interest in lower back injuries and cutting through the noise of confusing, hard-to-diagnose cases.

Will specialises in:

  • Lower back injuries and complex, hard-to-diagnose cases

  • Manual therapy - dry needling, joint mobilisations, active releases and massage

  • Strength and conditioning-led rehabilitation and return to sport
